Thirteen years after the launch of the first set, a new edition is here: Caleidoscopio Cards No. 3 – Friends Edition.
Caleidoscopio Cards are photo cards designed for coaching, training sessions, workshops and teamwork. They help bring thoughts, feelings and experiences into the conversation. This third edition adds something new: images by different contributors, each with their own way of seeing the world.
The idea behind the Friends Edition
The idea for this edition emerged during a walk along the Elbe. By then, Frauke and Annette had collected enough new photographs for another set. But a new thought came up: why not invite others to contribute their images as well? And so the idea for the Friends Edition was born.
Eleven people, eleven different perspectives
Frauke and Annette invited eleven others to contribute photographs from their own collections. This naturally made the new set different from its predecessors. After all, everyone sees the world in their own way. One person may notice a small detail, while another captures people, landscapes or unexpected situations. All these different perspectives come together in the Friends Edition. Together, they resulted in more than 150 potential images.
Choosing together
Frauke and Annette didn’t make the final selection on their own either. As with the previous sets, they invited users to join Picture Parties. More than 50 people looked at the photographs, shared what the images evoked for them and voted for their favourites. Step by step, the final selection for Caleidoscopio Cards No. 3 took shape.
Ready for new conversations
Like the previous sets, the Friends Edition can be used in many different ways: to open a workshop, during check-ins and check-outs, for feedback and reflection, when getting to know each other or in coaching conversations. Sometimes one simple question is enough to open up a different kind of conversation: ‘Which image reflects where you are right now?’
